In Florida, a commercial driver may be disqualified from operating a commercial vehicle for one year if he or she is found guilty of:
- Operating a commercial vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of .04% or greater

- Refusing a chemical test to determine his or her blood alcohol concentration
- Driving a commercial vehicle while in possession of a controlled substance
